
“On Elliott Warner, of Grand River Builders, works to remove an old cupola so a new cupola could be installed onto the old Third Reformed Church at the corner of Hermitage St. SE and Diamond Ave. in Grand Rapids on Tuesday, April 2, 2019. The old property had fallen into disrepair after its latest owners could not keep up with the maintenance of the big wooden structure now dubbed “The Hermitage.” Preservationist Carol Moore is leading the renovation effort that currently has about $300,000 into the project.
