South Side Facelift

Support Our South Side Facelift!

Hermitage at Diamond is coming back
to life—and the next step is the South
Side Facelift
. The goal of the Facelift
campaign: raise $100,000 to restore
20 stained glass windows—including a
magnificent rose window—and 4 massive
entry doors.

The South Side Facelift will be another
milestone in the long-term project of
restoring Hermitage at Diamond to
create both a beautifully restored historic
structure and a significant resource for the
community. The focus of the project is an
adaptive reuse that strengthens community
through diverse arts and culture offerings.
Hermitage at Diamond is a Grand Rapids
architectural treasure listed in the National
Register of Historic Places. Built in 1875
as the home of the Third Reformed Church,
this imposing structure includes a 460-
seat performance space notable for its
amazing acoustics.
